Levens Hall – Until 30th September 2026
Located less than five miles from Junction 36 of the M6, just five miles south of the beautiful market town of Kendal, and at the entrance to the Lake District National Park, Levens Hall can be easily reached. Enter LA8 0PD into your SAT NAV alternatively use /// matchbox.flock.treaties to find us using what3words.
If you’re flying into the UK then Kendal has train links from London Euston, Manchester and Glasgow
Travelling by train:
Euston London to Oxenholme around 2 1/2 – 3 hours
Manchester to Oxenholme around 1 Hour
Glasgow to Oxenholme around 2 hours
The nearest mainline train station is Oxenholme The Lake District. From here, a short ten-minute taxi journey will take you to the main entrance of Levens Hall.
Drive Times:
Manchester – 1 hour 30 mins
Glasgow – 2 hours 30 mins
London – 5 hours
Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 36 (A590, signposted Barrow-in-Furness) then take the A6 south (signposted Milnthorpe). Follow the brown tourist signs.
The Underley Estate – From 1st October 2026
The Underley Estate is located close to Junction 36 of the M6, less than one mile from the beautiful historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, on the border between Cumbria, Lancashire and North Yorkshire.

Travelling by train:
Euston London to Oxenholme around 2 1/2 – 3 hours
Manchester to Oxenholme around 1 hour
Glasgow to Oxenholme around 2 hours
The nearest mainline train station is Oxenholme The Lake District. From here, a short fifteen-minute taxi journey will take you to the main entrance of the Underley Estate. Alternatively Lancaster train station is approximately 30 mins by taxi.

Glasgow – 2 hours 45 mins
London – 5 hours
Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 36 (A590/A65), at the roundabout take the exit onto A590/A65 (signposted Kirkby Lonsdale), then at the Crooklands roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A65. After 4.4 miles turn left into Hophouse Lane, then after 1.1 miles turn right, then follow the B6254. After 0.6 miles turn left onto Phil Lane where you will find Underley Estate on the left. Free parking is available on site.
