Looking ahead to 2027 we’re approaching our calendar in, what we hope, will be a simplified format.. more of that to come later this week. In the meantime we want to let everyone know that this June will be our final 4 week course. It’s the end of an era for this life changing course, having hosted just one a year for the past few years it’s now time to remove it from our course calender completely. To add… our 2 week course will continue throughout this year and into 2027 etc etc!! Please share this post with those around you who will encourage and support you, help you make the change of career you want. Alternatively share it with family and friends, those you know and care about who would welcome your support to change career. We spent two inspiring days @cothelstonemanor in Taunton here in the UK. The first day teaching our students how to create and arch outside the beautiful @cothelstonechurch and the second, dressing the grand hall and staircase in the Manor House. But of course it did, we have the beautiful images from @katecullenstyle to prove it - but not only that, we have the most precious memories too, conversations, laughter, new friendships made, existing ones strengthened. Thank you everyone who invested and travelled to Cothelstone Manor to create with me. Our students, Jo, Caroline, Mamiko, Monique, Ash, Cora and Sarah - what a pleasure to spend a very happy two days flowering with you all. I hope our floral paths cross again someday ✨ Thanks to the team here @cothelstonemanor and @cothelstonechurch for welcoming us back and of course to @fablefaine for finding this amazing space. My mind is 100% on the teaching day especially when we’re on location, so capturung content is low down on my priority list. Being present and in the moment is where I’m at so it’s really important to choose a photographer that you know and trust ✨ Everyone on the course will receive a portfolio of images from Kate. It’s so important to everyone completing the course, for design portfolio’s or simply memories to share with others. FINAL TIME - Signature 4 Week Career Change Course FINAL TIME - Signature 4 Week Career Change Course For over 15 years, I’ve been teaching my 4-week Career Change Course. It’s where so many florists began, not just learning the mechanics of flowers, but finding their style, their confidence, and a new direction. When I created it back in 2009, I wanted to offer something immersive. Time to step away from everyday life and fully explore what a creative career could look like. In recent years, I’ve shifted towards the shorter 2 week career change course finding it more accessible to the majority. The 4 week experience has always held something different. Something deeper, but as travel opportunities present themselves to Tallulah Rose holding onto the 4 week course has proven difficult. So I’ve made the decision that this June, I will be teaching it one final time. And we’ll go out on a high! If you’ve ever thought about changing direction, working with flowers, building something of your own and immersing yourself for a month feels right to you, (it did to me - that’s how I started), then my June course is your final opportunity. Meet Fiona @fionagathered ✨ I don’t think Fiona wo Meet Fiona @fionagathered ✨ I don’t think Fiona would dispute that she has had the very best two weeks. Taking time out from a very busy medical profession I’d say she found a lighter, curious fun Fiona! With an obvious passion for flowers and people Fiona was a lot of fun to be around. She (bravely in my opinion!) hired a bike and crossed the city each morning to flower school. Always curious and up to the challenge of learning I have loved being part of Fiona’s Amsterdam story.. Thank you for travelling from the UK, for being such an integral part of the group and for always, always having a smile on your face…

I spy! What flowers do you see? Rewinding to las I spy! What flowers do you see? Rewinding to last week in Amsterdam when everyone came together to work as one. With a brief to ‘bring the outdoors in’ and creature a naturalist design, they smashed it! The first large scale installation for everyone, you’re impressed right?! I was blown away not only by the way everyone worked together, but the placement of each and every stem - gorgeous! I have so much to share with you all after two ama I have so much to share with you all after two amazing weeks teaching the most incredible group of women 👊🏼 I’m heading home via Eurostar today with a head full of memories while simultaneously thinking ‘did it all really happen?’ so I’m glad to have the photos to prove it! I thought I’d start by sharing our final day of flowering, a freestyle bouquet and a wired crown. Here’s Ami @__hrcsta who travelled from Tokyo to study with me. Travelling so far, solo, warrants admiration. Showing up to learn as much as she could all the while translating English to Japanese, I take my hat off to you Ami - not sure how that will translate?! No doubt we’ll have a giggle about it at some point 🤭 Anyway the point is… Ami is beautiful, funny, honest and brave and I know she’s going to be a great florist too! The Essence of Ami. Thank you Ami, such an honour to meet and teach you 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Both foundations and techniques the same - chicken wire, fishing line and tubes - but two very different outcomes. Ami and her beautiful flowers! アミと美しい花たち Day fou Ami and her beautiful flowers! アミと美しい花たち Day four in Amsterdam and we talked about farewell flowers. We have students from Japan, Saudi Arabia, USA, Germany, UK, Korea and Denmark and it’s interesting to hear each other traditions. We used a palette of lemon, pink and white to create these celebration of life designs. By choosing a wide based basket it’s better to sit on top of a casket. The foundation was paper cups with chickenwire nestled into moss. Here’s Ami @__hrcsta with her design, she’s really proud, and so she should be 💞
